About Freedom Out of the Box
Freedom Out of the Box is helping others break free from traditional thinking and live a healthy, wealthy, fulfilling lives.
For the past year or more, our focus has been on health because our family got so sick.
My kids are everything to me… there they are on the right.
Beautiful, right?
In June of 2010 my son was eleven years old. He came home from the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer science camp at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on the day his older sister graduated high school.
What a fantastic day!
Shortly after that, he started to feel a little under the weather. Like he had the flu. This flu seemed to hang on for longer than most.
My son was very sick for about 9 months… He couldn’t go to school or play outside. He missed trick or treating and family outings. He couldn’t read a book or play with his friends. He was just sick… all the time.
I think I figured out what was making him sick. He has been getting better, instead of worse, since April of 2011… and as of this writing it is October 2011.
He is doing better today because we were willing to go beyond what some doctors were telling us. At one appointment with a pediatric infectious disease specialist, the doctor suggested that all he needed was counseling and exercise.
By the time I figured out what was making my son so ill… we all had health issues, even the dog.
This was either environmental, very contagious, or both.
I will be sharing what I learned about:
- Thinking out of the box
- Health and wellness
- Lyme disease
- Co-infections
- Viruses
- Parasites
- Mold illness
- Mercury poisoning
- Lead poisoning
- Detoxing
- Nutrition
- Positive thinking
When my son was at his sickest, I thought about writing about it, but I was too busy digging for answers to organize the research into a blog. Now that he is better, we still have work to do to get to total health…
I continue to learn new things every day… I will be sharing the old and the new in hopes of helping you to regain your health, too!
Let me know if I am doing a good job, leave a comment!
